Who wants to volunteer a birthdate? 5 December 1810. Sierra's genealogy program "Generations" easily solves these types of date expressions; other software titles may do so as well. >When Ancestor X died in 1884, did one of his family members calculate on >their computer, with a leap-year formula, just how many years, months, and >days he lived? LOL. I can't say who calculated Ancestor X's lifespan; or why they chose to memorialize it in such manner, but if you start with his DOB it's pretty easy to come up with the specific year/month/day of his death. Hope this helps, Bryan Logan **************************** * [log in to unmask] * **************************** To subscribe, change options, or unsubscribe please see the instructions at http://listlva.lib.va.us/archives/va-roots.html
