Does anyone have any metal (or other material) admission tokens for Virginia's 19th century pleasure gardens?
Richmond had several of these gardens where visitors (for a fee) could take long walks on landscaped lanes ornamented with classical statuary, musicians played, and refreshments were available.
Is anyone doing any scholarship on the subject of these gardens or know of a good source?
