Many of Goochland's 18th century records have been published. You could likely use these books at either the Clayton Library in Houston our the Genealogy Department of the Dallas Public Library. Both have a lot on VA. The latter may have some of the microfilmed records from LVA that Jon Kukla mentioned. Those films can be borrowed on interlibrary loan through you local library from LVA.
