I found this in old files, there may be more.  While not conclusive, here is
a suggestion of Warwick’s as a port in 1835 in William Henry Brockenbrough’s
“A new and comprehensive gazeteer of Virginia, and the District of
Columbia”, p.90:
“James River is navigable for vessels of 250 tons to Warwick and 125 tons to
Rocket’s, the port of Richmond.”
