Lists of members of all of the Virginia constitutional conventions are printed in Cynthia Miller Leonard, comp., The General Assembly of Virginia, July 30, 1619-January 11, 1978 (1978). The Albemarle County and Charlottesville district sent two representatives to the 1901-1902 convention, William Henry Boaz and James H. Lindsay. You'll find a biography of Boaz in the Dictionary of Virginia Biography, 2:39-40. Lindsay was a Charlottesville journalist. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Sara B. Is there a list of the delegates to the Virginia Constitutional Convention of 1901 - 1902? I'm wondering who attended from Charlottesville/Albemarle County, and specifically if RTW Duke of Charlottesville was there. My thanks for any suggestions.
