Craig,

I'd choose Eliz Varon's SOUTHERN LADY, YANKEE SPY. (On a personal note,
there're several references in the book to James Duke, who worked for
her, was caught and incarcerated He was my great-great grandfather.)

Maurice.

I see several books available about her. I am asking this learned group's opinion on the BEST book about her, and perhaps spying general in Richmond during the war.
