Hello Everyone, Please forgive the impersonal nature of this mass email, but it seemed the most efficient way of letting lots of people know about a special event that is happening this weekend. From 10 to 5 on Saturday, the Virginia Historical Society offers a free family open house. There will be tons of events for the whole family, music, crafts, giveaways, trivia contests, food, and, of course, loads and loads of history! The attached flyer tells you more. Whether you are a serious history buff or just looking for a free event to spend time with your family, I hope you'll stop by. This invitation is especially for those of you who have never visited the VHS. Despite our name, we are a museum and educational institution that tells the stories of all Virginians, young and old. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. I hope to see you Saturday. Paul P.S. We are at the corner of the Boulevard and Kensington Ave., right near Interstate 64 and 95. For specific directions, see our web site: http://www.vahistorical.org <blocked::http://www.vahistorical.org/> . We also have plenty of free parking! ------------ Paul A.
