I am looking at an abandonware game to put on our website. The game is
called American Civil War: From Sumpter to Appomattox. A description of the
game is shown at
http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/abandonware/pc/simulations/games_a/american_civil_war_from_sumter_to_appomattox.html

I noticed that at the bottom of the page there is reference to a game called
"Civil War Generals 2.

Is anyone here familiar with either of these games? I understand the
American Civil War may not be very user friendly. But, my greater concern is
with the historic authenticity of the games. Will they be an acceptable
means for students to learn about the civil war? Is there a bias towards one
side or the other in the games?
