I am currently examining two chancery suits filed in first decade of
the 1800s regarding the Carter and Robinson families. In both suits
the plaintiffs are suing the administator of George Carter. In both
cases the "attorney" if you will is Sto: Towles, p Qs"

I know that this is Stokely Towles, but I cannot figure out what "p
Qs" could stand for.

Any ideas?
