Have you checked the VCU Library? I believe I've heard they have some information of papers that pertain to her. I'm not certain, but it may be worth a try. One stumbling block is our founder, Grace Arents, niece of Lewis Ginter. We have researched the holdings at VA Historical Society, the Diocese of VA, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Henrico Court House, and the Library of VA. We are all too aware of the fact she left no papers (AAARRGGHH!). What we do know is based on anecdotal evidence and very few documents. I had heard about a year ago that someone was writing a book on her, but have no other information on this. Does anyone know of other research or have suggestions as to where else to look?
