***Mozilla Firefox and the alt Attribute*** If you use the alt attribute in Firefox on images and image maps the text will not show on mouse-over as in other browsers. Firefox uses the alt attribute the way it's meant to be used, like an alternative text if the image won't load, not as a mouse-over text. Firefox does support mouse-over comments on images or image maps if you use a title attribute in the <img> tag. E.g. <img src="image.gif" alt="bla" title="bla bla bla" Hope this provides an answer :-) Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anne Pemberton" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2007 9:21 AM Subject: Re: Veterans Day > Thanks, Diane, > > According to the stats, I don't have many users from Foxfire, and wonder > why their browser does not pick up the alt tag information.
