It may well be that the will no longer exists, if it was included in the
James City County records that were sent to Richmond and then were destroyed
when the city burned.  Of course, it could have been included in the records
of another county, but that would require knowing if William Stith owned
property in another county whose records survived.

I tried searching Colonial Williamsburg's "Past Portal" to see if any
information was there, but the "Past Portal" content is currently being
moved over to the Foundation's Digital Library.  According to their website,
this should be completed by the end of this week (5/18).  See
