I Googled 6 pages, and it is odd, there seems to be so little about
it. I came across the name Beverly as being one of the Knights: a Lt.
John Fontaine who was an "Irish Huguenot", was on the trip; and an
Augustine Smith, who was related to or from the Washington family.
The expedition included "government officials, gentry, soldiers,
servants" and 4 Meherrin Indians. Sorry I couldn't find out more.
