I Googled 6 pages, and it is odd, there seems to be so little about it. I came across the name Beverly as being one of the Knights: a Lt. John Fontaine who was an "Irish Huguenot", was on the trip; and an Augustine Smith, who was related to or from the Washington family. The expedition included "government officials, gentry, soldiers, servants" and 4 Meherrin Indians. Sorry I couldn't find out more.
