In the same general vein, if anyone has documented examples of African Americans and American Indians who served in the American forces during the Revolution from Virginia (or elsewhere for that matter), we would very much appreciate knowing about them. We did a book in 2001 listing many men (10 pages of names on Virginia lone), but we know we don't have everyone. Often this information is buried in pensions and other records. We're revising that book and trying to include as many people as possible. Eric G. Grundset Library Director DAR Library National Society Daughters of the American Revolution 1776 D St., N.W.
