Alas, I did not receive a private reply. I suppose no one is interested in the subject. Jurretta was the only one who replied, but she did so on the list. I ran through the archive of the H-Net she suggested and didn't see much excitement there. But maybe you and I could join the list and start a discussion about the French & Indian War and see if we get any bites. Are you game? Jurretta said to goto http://www.h-net.org/~ieahcweb/ and subscribe. Once we subscribe and start chatting we can tell others on the VA-HIST list to come on over and join us to talk about the French and Indian War. After all the 250th celebration is going on now. And I want to learn more about it. I don't have a degree in history. I had to major in math and computers because I needed to find a job when I graduated. (haha). Otherwise, if I had known I could have majored in history and gone to law school, well maybe that would have changed my direction. But I was the first in my family to go to college and I was clueless. But, that's another story - I'm getting off on a tangent - as mathematicians tend to do - <grin> Lonny ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ronald Whitaker" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Monday, January 02, 2006 11:28 PM Subject: Re: French & Indian War > Lonny. > > If you receive a private response to your question, please publish it to > this list or forward the answer to me.
