The next program in the Virginia Heritage Resource Center's Mining the Treasure House lecture series will take place at noon on Tuesday, 14 October, 2003, in the conference rooms adjacent to the lobby in the Library of Virginia at 800 East Broad Street in downtown Richmond. The speaker will be Trenton Hizer, Senior Finding Aids Archivist in the Description Services Section at the Library of Virginia. He will be speaking on "The Many Worlds of Littleton Waller Tazewell: Hidden Histories in the Tazewell Family Papers." Littleton Tazewell (1774-1860), was a prominent Virginian, having serevd as both Governor and United States Senator. His papers are rich in information on many facets of Virginia life in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries. Hizer's talk is one in a number of events being presented to celebrate Archives Week.
