The Library of Virginia is pleased to announce the opening today of a major
new exhibition, "Block. Ink. Paper. The Prints of J. J. Lankes and Charles
W. Smith." Assembled by the Library's exhibitions coordinator, Barbara
Batson, the exhibition features the work of two of Virginia's most talented
twentieth-century woodcut artists.

The free exhibition runs through 1 December 2001. There is underground
parking for patrons at the Library.
