The Staunton Public Library is please to host the Irish and Scots-Irish Family History Research Workshop, presented by Fintan Mullan, Executive Director and Gillian Hunt, Research Officer of the Ulster Historical Foundation based in Belfast, Ireland. This workshop is co-sponsored by the Augusta County Genealogical Society.
The Workshop will take place Monday, March 16 at the Staunton Public Library. Please call 540-332-3902 or reply to this email to register.

Introduction to Irish and Scots-Irish Family History Research
Records Related to the Different Churches in Ireland
Understanding Irish Townlands: the importance of place, identity and administrative divisions in Irish research
6:30 - 8:30 pm
Emigration from the North of Ireland to North America in the Eighteenth Century (the story of the Scots-Irish)
Solving Your Brick Walls: Practical Internet Tutorial and Resolving Research Problems
