Does anyone have any information regarding a James or his brother Harrison
Montgomery who received land in what is now Wythe County, VA in the late
1700's? WPA information indicates they took possession of the land, then
sent for their sister Margaret Montgomery. Upon her arrival, the brothers
returned to England. Margaret married Peter Bishop in Wythe County c.
1770/80 and died there in 1821.

Thanks, Bill
