Earlene,
There's a good chance that I am going to lose one of my Records Center
Clerk positions, so I am curious as to how the economic situation is
affecting records management programs in jurisdictions surrounding
Alexandria. Perhaps if other programs are doing OK, that can bolster my
argument that ours shouldn't be affected, either. But each jurisdiction is
unique, of course.
Your e-mail made me wonder if you were getting cuts as well. If you can
say, please let me know. Dick Harrington told me, aside from the furlough
on January 2, that he had gotten the OK to hire someone.
Thanks,
Jackie Cohan, CA, MA

Does anyone have a documented process (or practice) used when a
government agency (or department) is abolished? If so, I would very much
appreciate having a copy sent to me.
