Several weeks ago there was an interesting string about cemeteries. I have knowledge of an abandoned cemetery which appears no one owns. It was begun in 1908 or there about with trustees long deceased. For years it was assumed the town owned the cemetery but title can not be traced to the town.
My questions are: does anyone know of people who can identify burial plots that have no headstones, who to contact for the process of moving the identified graves to a maintained cemetery. This cemetery is being taken over by woods and trash. Thanks
