Subscribers to Va-Hist and Va-Roots will have noticed an interruption in
our electronic conversations. The e-mail server at the Library of
Virginia went on the fritz sometime Thursday evening, 8 December. I have
just now (4:00 o'clock, Friday afternoon) been informed that service is
resuming and that the backlog of messages will commence to dribble out.

Patientce.
