The Va-Roots computer that receives and sends out all e-mail messages is
set up so that replies to Va-Roots messages get sent out automatically
to all Va-Roots subscribers.
Some new e-mail programs may allow some subscribers to use the reply

If you wish to send your message to one person, collect that person's
e-mail address and create a new message.
If you choose to reply to a Va-Roots message, please make certain that
you do not attach your reply to a long existing Va-Roots message,
especially if you receive Va-Roots via a digest.
This keeps our discussions swift and clean and on topic.
