In checking the LVA site for this particular image card, the description is
as follows:
"Cumberland County (1841-1866): The marriage information in this file was
compiled from various sources which are not listed on the cards."

Since no specific source is given, I must agree with you that this could be
iffy, particularly since the Cumberland Genweb site did not seem to find
this notation while at the same time finding additional info on other
marriages. It certainly does not make sense in view of the documentation we
have.
