Matthew WHITING married, 1752, Martha PEYTON, in Kingston Parish, Gloucester
Co., VA. Matthew Whiting (b.1712) is said to be the same Matthew Whiting,
son of Thomas Whiting [and possibly Anne Kemp], who served as sheriff of
Gloucester County in 1741. Martha Peyton is said to be the daughter of
Thomas and Frances (Tabb) Peyton, of Gloucester County.

I have information on the ancestry of both individuals, but wish to
correspond with anyone researching the descendants of this couple. I am
particularly interested in their whereabouts after their marriage. Your
response is appreciated.

C. Ward
