Prior to 1792  when Kentucky was created Virginia collected real and
personal taxes in what was to become Kentucky. I'm trying to locate
those pre-1792 tax records. They do not appear to be included in the
VA tax records listed at
<http://www.lva.lib.va.us/whatwehave/tax/index.htm>. Can anyone tell
me where that might be found?
