Hi Bill,
 Thank you for your response.

I guess what I should have done is to post the will
first. Some of the responses I have been getting say
perhaps he did not want her to remarry or that she did
not receive at least one third of the estate.

In the will which I have a copy of Robert McCune does
not ask that his wife never remarries.

She also receives a one third share. He had several
children by his first wife and 2 sons with Eliza. All
the children and she get money and/or property.

As far as the executor I mentioned in my first posting
who was a friend to the McCunes, Samuel S. Weisiger, he
did not want "the burden" of being the executor for this
will.
