I am looking for information on Samuel D. Carter.  He was a son of Wilson Carter and Sarah Davis of Prince Edward County.  He married a Sarah C. before 1850.  In 1860 he had a daughter Pamelia S. age 18, Mary R. age 9,  Almira  age 7,  Austila age 6,  Viola age 4 and a son George W. age 1 year.  In the 1870 census he and his wife had aged 5 years but  the children had aged 10 years with an additional  daughter Rebecca age 7.  George was not there neither Almira  D., Pamelia S. who were of the marriage age.
Who did Samuel D. Carter marry?  Did he die in Campbell County? Is there a record of any marriages of these people or death record?
