"Capt. Wilfred Emory Cutshaw's Co. Va. Light Arty.

"Jackson Artillery, Winchester; organized March 10, 1862, for the war, 
by authority for the Sec. of War received
March 7, 1862.  Remarks on roll dated October 31, 1862, show that this 
company consolidated with, and the
members transferred to, Carpenter's Co. Va. Light Arty., September 23, 
1862.  Some members of this company
formerly served in the 51st Regt. (Frederick County) Va. Militia."
