I am looking for information on an ancestor, Robert Spink/Spynk who was on
the Speedwell when it came to VA in 1635 from England.

I can't find any information so far on where the ship landed at this time with
him on board or what he did with his life from that point.

We have family records of him years later living in Rhode Island and purchasing
some land.

We have stories that he came over on the Speedwell but couldn't pay his
passage and had to be an indentured servant for a number of years. I don't
know if that's true or not.

Any help finding out more information about Robert Spink (or Spynk as it's
spelled on the passenger list) would be great appreciated.
