I attended her lecture at the library, purchased her book and have read
through the "Introduction" and into the body of the tome. She spoke with passion
in her lecture but her passion with the "pen" is unrivaled. She has a very
real writing talent, displays an incredible capability to find and explain
historical facts in a myriad of unlikely places and examines her chosen subject,
the influence of slavery at a personal level in the early days of the colonies
and America, with a rousing fervor. I highly recommend her book to all who
have a real interest in the evolution of America from the vantage point of the
people who participated in the "American adventure." She has secured her
place as a serious student of the history of early America with her published
works.
