Hi ya'll.

I have a question - hopefully there will be an answer.

In the City of Chesapeake, there was a family cemetery in the Deep Creek
area. It had a large monument type tombstone and a few other smaller stones.
It seems that the property was sold and now the stones are gone.

How can I find out what happened to the bodies - or the stones? Is this a
City thing or State. Someone said that it was under the juristiction of the
State Health Dept.

Any information you can offer will be appreciated. Some of these people in
the graves were distant family members.

Thanks!!
