I found the following listing on the Library of Virginia website page
for the Northern Neck Grants;

Patent/Grant Year/Volume Reel Num.

Total Pages

Grants C 1729-1731 (VOL.1 & VOL.2 p.1-227) 290 227

Grants D 1731-1732 291 684

Grants E 1736-1742 (VOL.1 & VOL.2 p.1-525) 291 525. I was searching for
a Northern Neck Grant Corresponding to the following listing, that I
found in an old posting at

The posting read, "Jacob Better, 400 acres surveyed 1735, survey Nos. 6,
7."

I did not find the grant, as there seems to be a four-year gap in the
record.

Is the gap an omission or are there no records for Northern Neck Grants
made between 1732 and 1736?
