I found it interesting that almost all of my male ancestors outlived
their wives. Most were married at least twice. In only a couple of cases

My own sweet Grandmother had her last child at age 47. It DOES happen
occasionally, even though it should be a "red flag" as stated earlier.

There are exceptions to ever generalization. My fifth great grandfather
Shockey was born in 1755 and did not die until 20th of January 1861.
Amazing all eleven of his children were alive and signed the Bible given
to him in 1855 for his 100th birthday.

The longest living of the eleven children only lived to age 96y 8m and
