I am looking for any information about my gggrandmother, Mary Ann (?maiden)
Roberson, who was born about 1824 in Charles City, Virginia.

Her first husband was a James Roberson and she was left widowed about 1841
with two daughters:  Adelaide & Isabella.  I was able to document this much
through records from Freedman's Bank.

She married my gggrandfather, Simeon Harper on March 17, 1842, in Pendleton
County, Virginia, where they had several children of their own, including my
great-grandfather, Simeon Harper.

I will appreciate any assistance & am particularly interested in discovering
her maiden name!
