Hi,  

We are trying to find out what the "late brewer" would mean if the brewer was still alive.  We have found this term used several time in a City Directory.  If anyone can help us figure this out we would greatly appreciate it.

Where History Begins will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010.  This workshop
s made possible by a generous State and National Archival Partnership
SNAP) grant from the National Historical Publications and Records
ommission.
 
Where History Begins will provide an opportunity for networking and
ooperation among societies across the Commonwealth.  Society members,
taff, and volunteers are being encouraged to register for this exciting
ay of presentations, discussion, and behind-the-scenes tours of the
ibrary of Virginia.
 
Speakers will explore a variety of topics, from finding grant
pportunities to building support for societies.  Basic preservation
ools and techniques for working with collections will also be
resented.

30, and includes lunch.
