On February 23 author and researcher Robert O'Connor will share the story of over 200,000 soldiers who served in the Union armies and navies, explain their roles in the war and the misconceptions about their service, and bring to light the number of Colored Troops held as prisoners of war in Confederate prisons. Books will be available for purchase.
