Eric:

The Master Genealogist (TMG) does an excellent job with various kinds
of parents. One can have an unlimited number of parents of various
kinds (bio, adoptive, step, foster, candidate, godparent). The
sentences pertaining to events can have the appropriate personal name
for each event in a person's life.
