Has anyone run across meaning of the word "infant" assigned to any person
under 16/21 in legal documents? I have an entry in an 1815 order book in
Louisa Co., VA that refers to the Children of a man deceased for 10 years
(died in 1805) as infants. The Mother is still alive with the Children. Thank
you. Tim Spradling
