Subject: [VAROOTS] Confederate photos


  We accept images of all Civil War soldiers, etc. Also many images do not 
find the individual dressed in a uniform. A number of images are post war 
photos of soldiers. The misconception you mention may be based on the point 
that we have cataloged far more Union images than CSA. This point may rest 
in part with the far larger number of Union images that exist in comparison 
with CSA photos.  We hold a very good collection of CSA images which are 
available for viewing here onsite.
