The problem with making new copies of disks may be the same as photocopies
or cassette tapes, though.  Quality may decline with every new generation.
If so, then by the third or fourth copy they may not even be legible.  Also,
we have to consider the changing computer technology.  The first floppy
disks were about 5" square and nobody makes drives to read them any more.
Anything that was stored on those is gone unless somebody had the foresight
to see the change coming.
