Charlotte, and VA Roots listers,

Can you (or any other listers) tell us which counties still require a
"note" from the county clerk?  I'm planning a trip to LVA next week,
and don't want a nasty surprise.  I hope to use Chesterfield, Henrico,
Orange county records and Richmond city records.
