One more thing to add to my typo saga: our home, Westview, is on the National Register of Historic Places. While Westview is in Charlotte County, VA, our mailing address is Brookneal, VA. On the National Register website they list Westview as being in "Brocknel, VA." Since 2000, I have been trying via e-mails and phone calls from myself and others to get them to correct it. Despite the fact that it is a typo on her part, and acknowledging that there is no such place as Brocknel, the extremely rude young woman in charge of the website pointblank refuses to correct it without a letter from the State Historic Preservation Officer. Another Mexican stand-off.

So, no one will know my name and they'll have no idea where I lived. Better and better!

Lathy Lee of Brocknel
aka Kathy in Brookneal
