Very interesting thread - I am learning from the learned! Thanks for the
enlightenment!

My question is [as someone with enough understanding of basic genetics to
be dangerous] how/when was the risk of insanity found not to be increased
by the potential joining of recessive genes through close intermarriage?

I await more enlightenment.
