Can anyone explain the meaning of these deed abstracts , and the lapse of time in recording them ? Also , does anyone know
the relationship of Henry, Richard, and Lewis Brown ?

Oct.12 , 1801 Fleming Smith ( Spartanburgh ) to Henry Brown (same ); for $300 sold 199 ac on waters of Kelsey's Cr;
