I responded too quickly and realized upon re-reading that I meant to say that the Battle of Salineville occurred near Lisbon Ohio. The battle is also known as the battle of New Lisbon, New Lisbon Road, and Wellsville. The NPS overview is here: http://www.nps.gov/hps/abpp/battles/oh002.htm

There is not much context beyond the name, but the "Lisbon" you seek might be related to the the Battle of Salineville (7/26/1863), which occurred near Salineville, Ohio. This was where General John Hunt Morgan's cavalry was soundly defeated by Union troops. Morgan was captured later in the day.
