My best guess is that Catherine's father was James WOODARD. These WOODARDS
were Cherokee, based on Catherine's nickname-KITDY-KITCHLY, possibly
full-blood.
I believe I have tracked Leroy KIRK's ancestry fairly well.
My two major mysteries are Mary-Polly FRANCE and son James Tennessee COOPER.
On the marriage certificate of James and Mildred KIRK it is witnessed by
William FRANCE and Mary-Polly COOPER. At first I thought James might be an
illigitimate son of William. Now I think this WAS PROBABLY his grandfather
and that Mary-Polly FRANCE ZION married a seconftime to COOPER. Can anyone
