There is evidence of a Dudley/Dudly Milam/Milem/Milum/Millum found on muster
rolls of the 22nd VA Infantry, CSA. He enlisted in Company G, on 3 July 1861,
as a private and rose to the rank of corporal. Company G was AKA the "Wyoming
Riflemen."

Is this the same Dudley Milam found in 1860 Wyoming County, VA/WV Census
records as a 17-year-old in the house of George Milam and Nancy
McMillion/McMillian Milam? The Dudley Milam listed in Wyoming County was born
circa 1843 in Fayette County, VA/WV and was married 19 October 1866 in
Raleigh County, WV to Emily Cook, d/o Pemberton Cook and Ruth Shumate.

Thank you in advance for any confirmation re: the military career of Dudley
Milam. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Mike Peters
