Too good not to share.

Mrs. Mary Smith, wife of Isaac Smith, died in 1801.  Her tombstone bears
the inscription:  "She was what a woman ought to be."

Source:  Washington's Reception by the People of New Jersey in 1789 by Wm.
Scudder Styrker - published 1882.

BTW, her husband was Col. of the First Regiment of Hunterdon County
Militia, Justice of Supreme Court, Pres. of Trenton Banking Co and a
physician by profession.  Died Aug 1807
