In reading about an ancestor from colonial Maryland,  I discovered the
"Archives of Maryland Online" which has an extensive Glossary of Colonial
Terms. Colonial Maryland Court and Assembly records definitely used some
different terms than in Virginia. For example, their records use "Liber" for
book volume and "Folio" for page. There are many medical terms in the
Glossary as well.
